There are two ways to look at this, you are here to fulfil a lifetime ambition and actually drive one of the fastest accelerating cars on the planet. Or you are looking for more than a thrill ride and are looking at potentially competing in national event competition and wish to obtain your race license thru one of our courses. (a very wise choice)

At present all courses use PMR doorslammers, but Dragsters can be arranged

You will never drive anything that accelerates harder or faster than this. Experience the only car that accelerates as fast as a F16 Fighter Jet on full afterburner. 700+BHP Monsters, 0-60MPH in 1½ seconds, nothing faster, more memorable, more exciting than this amazing experience. You get the full works, burnout, launch and full pass. A Certificate is available for this truly unique event. Held at Santa Pod Raceway, the home of British Drag Racing!!

This experience is held on selected days throughout the summer (March to October)

The day’s activities are as follows: Filling in of Consent forms. (UK or European Valid Driving License Essential) Briefing and safety issues explained. Driver installation. Driver kitted out with race suit, gloves and helmet fitting. Passes in Drag Race car, debriefing after each lap. Certificate is available. The purchaser receives a voucher valid for 12 months. This is redeemable only when the drive is experienced, simply book in advance and arrive on the day, bad weather? – No problem, simply rebook another day. Spectators welcome (track entry fees applicable). Access to the grandstands, watch in style!

This is the chance of a lifetime to experience first hand the fabulous sights and sounds of the fastest motorsport on earth at the home of UK drag racing, Santa Pod Raceway.

It is the aim of PMR to compete at all events listed above, not withstanding damage or other commitments/unforeseen circumstances or real bad predicted weather. Drag Racing is an expensive business and relies on a dry racing surface. If its going to rain all weekend and be cold and miserable, don’t expect to see us!! We may well be a little crazy at times but we are not completely stupid!!!!
